About Me
As a native of Denmark, Daniel Stilling started his career as a Steadicam and camera operator in Scandinavia.
In 2002 he moved to Los Angeles where he honed in on his passion for camera work, working in many acclaimed TV series, such as "Scrubs" and "Criminal Minds".
He continued in his path as a Cinematographer in several films, such as independents "Chasing Bullitt" (a Steve McQueen biopic), "Because If Charlie" (Florida's first Covid compliant feature) "Priceless" distributed by Roadside Atractions and Universal, and also shooting the NASA Unit of Ridley Scott's Golden Globe winner and Academy Award nominated "The Martian".
Daniel has also been active in the commercial and music video world, as well as documentaries, such as "Woman In Motion" featured on Paramount +.
With his more than 20 wins and nominations as best Cinematographer around the world and his extensive body of work, with both high budget studio features and lower budget independent films, Daniel brings to every production his unique Scandinavian inspired style of Cinematography and his passion for filmmaking.
